Data Deletion
Last updated 22 August 2026 · Applies to dinom.ai and the DINOM application
In one line. Write to founders@dinom.ai with the subject Data deletion. We acknowledge within 24 hours and complete within 30 days. Everything below is detail about which route applies to you and what we can and cannot delete on your word alone.
Which one are you?
DINOM is used by real-estate developers to run their own sales. That means most of the personal data inside it is not ours to decide about — it belongs to the developer whose workspace holds it. Find yourself below.
1. A homebuyer or enquiry
Someone called you, or messaged you, or you filled in an enquiry form, and DINOM is the system behind it.
The record belongs to the developer, not to us. We hold it on their instructions. So:
- The fastest route is to ask the developer directly — the builder whose project you enquired about. They can delete you from their workspace themselves, in a few seconds.
- If you do not know who that is, or they do not respond, write to us. Tell us the phone number or email the contact came to, and roughly when. We will identify the workspace, pass your request to them, and tell you which developer it went to.
- If you simply want the calls and messages to stop, say so and we will mark you as do-not-contact across every workspace immediately, without waiting for anyone. That is one thing we will always do on your word alone.
The honest limit. We cannot erase a developer's business record on your instruction alone; they may have their own legal reason to keep it, such as a transaction you entered into. We can and will stop the contact, and we will chase them for an answer.
2. A DINOM customer, or a member of their team
You have a login.
- Deleting one record — a lead, a call, a booking, a file — can be done inside the application by anyone with the right permission. It goes when you press delete.
- Deleting your own account — ask your workspace administrator to remove you, or write to us. Your login and profile go; work you did that belongs to the organisation, such as a lead you created, stays with the organisation.
- Deleting the whole workspace — only an administrator can ask for this, and we will confirm by a second channel before doing anything, because it cannot be undone. Ask for an export first if you want one. Once confirmed, the workspace and everything in it is deleted within 30 days, and backups age out within a further 60 days.
3. Data from a connected advertising account
If a workspace connected Google Ads or Meta, two separate things exist and they are deleted separately.
| What | How to remove it | When |
|---|---|---|
| The credential that lets DINOM read the account | Integrations → the connector → Disconnect. You can also revoke it at the provider: Google account permissions, or Business Settings in Meta Business Manager. | Immediately |
| Figures already read — campaign names, cost, conversion counts | Ask us, or delete the workspace. Disconnecting on its own does not remove them, because they are part of the developer's own reporting history. | Within 30 days of asking |
We never hold personal data from an advertising account — no audience lists, no customer-match lists. Only cost and campaign figures. So there is no third thing to delete.
4. A marketing agency
You opened a brief link and uploaded work. The brief, your proposals and your files belong to the developer who sent the link, and deletion is their call. Ask them, or write to us and we will pass it on. If you only want the link to stop working, tell us and we will revoke it at once.
What we keep, and why
After a deletion there are two things we do not remove, and it is better to say so than to be discovered:
- Counts with nobody in them. Figures like “41 enquiries in July” survive, because no person can be identified from a number.
- Records the law makes us keep. Invoices and tax records, for the statutory period. These concern the paying customer, not their buyers.
How to ask
Email founders@dinom.ai, subject Data deletion, and include:
- Which of the four situations above describes you.
- The email address or phone number the data is attached to.
- What you want deleted — everything, or one thing.
We may need to check you are who you say you are before deleting anything; that check protects you from someone else deleting your record.
Our clock: acknowledged within 24 hours, completed within 30 days, backups aged out within 90 days. If something will take longer we will tell you why before the 30 days are up.
If you are not satisfied
Raise it with our Grievance Officer at founders@dinom.ai. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
